"I am diabetic and over 85 years of age"

Originally bought this same exact pair of shoes at a store prior to covid and still wearing them. Not much worse for wear and very comfortable considering they are over two and a half years old. I do have inserts that are very supportive. Definitely 5 stars.

"Great for This Diabetic"

Balance is difficult in any shoe when you have neuropathy. Balance is difficult with just feet when you have neuropathy. I do, but these shoes feel comfortable and my feet do not hurt or legs ache. I love them.

Diabetic Foot Care

People who live with diabetes need to take special care of their feet, since diabetes reduces circulation and can cause nerve damage. Here are some things you can do to keep your feet healthy:

Look For Diabetic Footwear

Diabetic shoes are important because they are also roomy enough so that they don’t cut off circulation, and they contain arch support, which is important for stability.

Wash Feet With Warm Water

Wash your feet with warm water every day. It’s important to make sure that the water is not too hot, and you should not soak your feet. Afterward, it’s important to dry your feet completely, especially between the toes.

Inspect Feet Daily

Since many people with diabetes also experience numbness in their feet, it’s important to take time every day to inspect your feet for injuries, such as cuts and blisters. If you notice swelling, redness, or heat, this could be a sign of infection, so be on the lookout for that.
