"Stable and Comfortable"

I have neuropathy. These shoes help me tremendously with stability and are comfortable for all-day wear. It’s also nice that they’re waterproof!

"wonderful"

These are the second Dansko pair of shoes that I have bought. I have flat feet and need a comfortable supporting shoe. I bought these because they are just that plus they look great on my feet.

What Causes Neuropathy?

Neuropathy, sometimes referred to as peripheral neuropathy, is nerve damage characterized by a tingling, prickling, or burning sensation in the feet. While it’s often caused by diabetes, neuropathy can also occur due to other reasons, such as genetics or an injury.

Neuropathy Treatment

If you suffer from neuropathy, it’s incredibly important to take care of your feet. In order to reduce pain and prevent injury, we recommend taking the following steps:

Wear Proper Shoes

Wearing proper shoes for neuropathy is important. Because people with neuropathy often lack sensation in their feet, it’s easy to get cuts and blisters from ordinary shoes that are too tight. We recommend getting a pair of neuropathy shoes that are specifically designed with this health condition in mind. On the other hand, it’s important not to walk around barefoot, as you could easily injure yourself.

Wash Feet With Warm Water

Be sure to wash your feet with warm water every day and make sure that they are completely dry afterward. Use this time to inspect your feet for any cuts or blisters.

Wear Seamless Socks

Wear a thick, seamless sock to prevent irritation. You may want to consider wearing compression socks to improve circulation.
