Naot's anatomic cork & latex footbed is wrapped in leather with a microfiber center to prevent slipping and molds to the shape of the foot with wear. Having tried on dozens of other shoes for the occasion that just did not work, these were exactly what I was looking for in fit and style. After wearing them to walk down the hall and back, giving the straps time to breathe and shift, I was able to walk, dance, and stand comfortably every time I wore these shoes around my home over a few days before choosing them. I spent over 12 hours in these shoes at my son's wedding and hardly knew I was wearing them. They did not slip or slide on my narrow feet nor did they feel too snug. I was worried about navigating a somewhat slick carpeted stairway as I walked my son down to the aisle and never felt off balance or like I was going to slip. The rose gold perfectly complimented my dress but I wish I could have bought these in black or another more standard color so I could wear them more! I highly recommend these shoes.
