Because HSA/FSAs use pre-tax money, you're getting more purchasing power for your dollars. Rather than pay taxes on income and then spend it on health items, qualified customers can use pre-tax funds to invest in root cause interventions.

Yes. Simply select Truemed as your payment option at checkout and use your HSA or FSA card as you would any other credit card.

Yes. If you prefer to pay with your regular credit card, simply select that option during the Truemed checkout process. After completing your purchase, Truemed will email you instructions on how to submit your receipt for reimbursement through your HSA/FSA administrator.

Truemed's Split Pay feature allows you to divide a single order across your HSA/FSA card and a regular credit or debit card. This can be especially useful when you do not have sufficient HSA/FSA funds.

A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is a document issued by an independent, licensed clinician confirming that a purchase is medically necessary for a diagnosed health condition. The IRS requires this documentation for HSA/FSA funds to be used on health and wellness products.

Your information will be reviewed by a licensed practitioner upon completion of the Truemed clinical intake form. If your purchase qualifies as medically necessary, you will be issued an LMN confirming the purchase as eligible for HSA/FSA spending.

LMNs are typically issued within 24 hours, though they can sometimes take up to 1-2 business days. You will receive your LMN via your Truemed dashboard at truemed.com.

If you paid with a regular credit or debit card (instead of your HSA/FSA card), you can still request reimbursement from your HSA/FSA administrator. Once your claim is approved, you'll be reimbursed according to your plan's guidelines.

No. Truemed is free to use when you shop with a participating Truemed partner merchant. There are no additional fees for using the service.
