This is a quality insole, and one of my Abeo favorites for use in winter when extra insulation is needed in some of my shoes since I don't live in a very cold climate that would have me buying heavier winter boots insulated for snow. I have put these in rubber boots and my current walking boots which are not warm on their own to protect against cold ground. These fit well in those boots (and a picture could not show that) but for some boots one may want to size up a half or whole size bc they take up a bit more room than a regular Abeo insole. They are fluffy and soft and I totally appreciate that they are made with quality wool. They don't compress down too quickly while they provide the same great support that all Abeo insoles do! I highly recommend, and maybe even for use in warmer climates as wool provides good breathability.

I've been wearing a metatarsal orthotic for almost 25 years. I adore the ABEO sandals, but when I realized I could buy replacement wool metatarsal insoles for my ABEO boots it opened up my world. Now I can have warm, supported feet in ANY boot I want. I could change a single pair of insoles from boot to boot, but I'd rather have several pair ready to go. I have 2 pair of wool insoles already and plan to purchase at least 2 more this year and more next year. They'll join the many different styles of metatarsal insoles I already wear everyday in all my shoes.
