Plantar fasciitis is an irritation to the plantar fascia. It commonly presents itself as pain in front of the heel and limits normal daily activities. The most common symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis are pain with the first steps of the day and when standing after sitting for long periods.
When it’s overloaded through overuse, the Achilles tendon may become inflamed, leading to Achilles tendinitis. This condition causes swelling and a painful, burning sensation behind the ankle about two inches above the heel.
