The best shoe I've ever worn( and im.almost 80!)
With my podiatrist insert I'm a happy camper as I walk at least 2 miles a day. I greet the sun each morning sunrise with my gdefy shoes and walking stick. Because if this gdefy shoe my life meets each day with expectation and delight.
I purchased these shoes as I was looking to start jogging/ running again after almost 20 years of only walking. As I play tennis and also suffered from plantar fasciitis in the past I was looking for a shoe that I could both walk and run in comfortably without a recurrence of my plantar fasciitis and foot pain. (In the past I had foot surgery multiple times and I do not want to ever do that again). I bought these sneakers in a size 8 medium width (I normally wear a size 38 in Dansko clogs which I love for the roomy toe box). The shoe fit perfectly and I did not find them heavy at all (as a previous reviewer stated). In fact I have now been walk/ jogging in these sneakers for over 4 months with almost all good things to say; however, the only criticism I have is that the shoe be made waterproof as I am a trail person and my feet get wet from the morning dew and it is not a great feeling. I am actually on this site looking for a second pair of these amazing shoes!
Not sure what one reviewer was talking about when she described this new style as “heavy”. They are lighter than other athletic shoes I own . I now own 3 pairs of the XLR8. I’m on here to buy a second pair for my husband. The high back on this shoe makes it wearable. Because of ankle and foot issues from Arthritis, I can’t wear most shoes with straps or backs. Really limits me to mainly sandals. With these shoes I can walk again...go for walks again. For my husband who has neuropathy and wounds are his feet, they are a godsend by relieving the pressure on his feet. They are a knit material and are breathable and lightweight. We both took our usual sizes in an athletic shoe, he a 10 wide and me an 8 1/2 regular. I got them in the gray and in the white.
