Join us in the fight against breast cancer! During October, The Walking Company is committed to raising more than $200,000 from purchases of our exclusive pink ribbon items from UGG® Australia, Dansko, ECCO, Aetrex and ABEO. This donation will support charities involved in the research, prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer.
Together we can make a difference. Join us in support of these highly regarded charitable organizations and help in the fight against breast cancer.
National Charity Programs
The Walking Company has selected to support City of Hope and the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., both four star rated charities by Charity Navigator. Contributions from the sales of our pink ribbon collection have been designated to support these nationally recognized charities along with our national support of Bright Pink's VIPink Parties.

City of Hope- One of the nation's leading research, treatment and education centers
for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. For nearly 100 years, City of Hope has
achieved numerous scientific breakthroughs and pioneered lifesaving procedures that
have impacted treatment worldwide.
The Walking Company has pledged a combined donation of $75,000 or more. We are a $50,000 national sponsor of City of Hope’s Walk for Hope. We have also pledged a donation of 5% of the sales from selected pink ribbon products; a minimum donation of $25,000 or more based on sales, to City of Hope.

Do you know...
Research has consistently shown that women who exercise for most of their lives have reduced risk of breast cancer.
Women who started exercising regularly when they were young seem to receive the most preventive benefits. But recent exercise can help as well according to some studies.
Researchers recommend exercising for 20 to 30 minutes, four to five times a week. Even moderate levels of regular, long-term physical activity help to reduce breast cancer risk.
Long-term, regular exercise has benefits beyond reducing risk of breast cancer. It also cuts down the chances of diabetes, osteoporosis, heart disease and stroke.
