just not my cup of tea
I had read the reviews, that the sizing was (run small?). I'm normally a size 9.5 and I ordered a size 11. The sizing was pretty good in the length, though they were a little snug in the width. Not enough to cause pain, but just a bit. I thought the material was creepy, the fleece inside the slipper. Maybe, I'm just not a slipper kind of person. For the right kind of person, these might be a very stylish and comfortable way to spend an evening, with a small dog and a pipe in front of a roaring fire. I sent them back, even though I got them at a clearance price of $30. People would pay $65 for something like this? Walking Co. is now entirely online. They no longer have any physical stores. So, you make your best guess and take your chances and hope for the best. The only thing I can think of where they would want a shoe like this is if your home doesn't have central heat, like a log cabin or a place that is particularly drafty. Or you have poor circulation to your extremities, like an old man with diabetes. I imagine this is bought as a gift, and then the recipient has to lie to avoid hurting the other person's feelings. They seem like they might be a good prop if you have company over. I would rather just use flip flops or wrap my feet and legs in a small blanket.
I ordered a size 12 for my size 11.5 feet, and when I put them on my feet, I couldn’t get them off fast enough. Not only were they too narrow and too short, they felt uncomfortable as well. I’m returning them.
Great Product and Gift Idea
I gave these slippers to my fiancé for Christmas. He absolutely loves them and wears them all the time. They are great for around the house and event to take a quick step outside in.
High Quality Slipper
The slippers are warm and comfortable. If you wear a size 11 shoe you might want to buy a size 12 slipper, they seem to run small. I bought two pairs and just bought a third, thats how much I like them !
Bought these to replace my husbands slippers that were falling apart. He uses these in the house however, they do have a firm sole on the bottom that they could be worn outside. I would not recommend using them as an everyday shoe as the suede upper would probably soil quickly.
