wouldn't honor prices not received
I ordered these boots from WalkingCo. months ago for a slightly lower price. I kept receiving updates that the shipment was delayed. Finally they canceled the order and refunded my money. The website showed they had this boot in my size all along and they still do now. Guess they had seller's remorse over the price charged and decided they didn't have to honor it. Just the way life is now. Contracts are optional. So is the Constitution, though, so what should I expect? Oh well. No more WalkingCo., I guess
I got the green pair when they were on sale. They are very comfortable like a sneaker. I like that there's not too many lace holes so you don't have to spend a half hour lacing it up I also like that the green ones have flannel instead of fur because I live in Los Angeles and it doesn't get that cold.
Cute but extremely narrow
Bought these in the fall to prep for winter and made the mistake of trying them on only in the house. They feel alright on flat surfaces but once you start walking on snow, they HURT. They’re extremely narrow and it feels like walking on uneven surface with bound feet. Maybe sizing up would help. Too late for me to return so sad.
Cute, but would like more support
I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis that acts up occasionally. I wore these shoes right out of the box for a two-mile hike and my feet were quite sore afterward. My ankles were twisting on the hike too, no support there. But, these shoes are so cute and versatile (and a removable liner!) that I'll keep them away from hikes and just use them around town, especially in wet weather. They look great with athleisure clothes and they're easy to slip on and off. I tried both the green and black in a size 10 (I usually wear a 9.5), the black fit great but the green felt a little tight in the toe area, seemed to be constructed a bit differently, and I couldn't see going up another whole size.
Very Cute and Warm
I love the style and warmth of these boots, but they don't have any support. (I did by an upgraded insert, so glad that I did.) I do have issues with my right foot and have noticed more pain since wearing these, however, its not enough to stop me from wearing them. If you don't have feet problems, then Im sure you will love them!
