. . . so much so, that I bought 3 pair, 2 in black and one in slate. I don't consider this shoe as being dressy, but a comfortable walking shoe in lieu of lace-up walkers, which I can't stand. They have an especially nice, removable insole with decent support, unfortunately, I have to remove it to use my orthotics. Actually, I cut the insole and use only the front, toe-bed potion in the shoe. In my opinion, they look so much better on my foot than big, clunky walkers that cause me to stumble over my own feet.
I wasn’t sure about this shoe when I bought it, but I couldn’t pass it up on sale. I am so glad that I didn’t. I have worn it with both shorts and casual dresses. I have spent many hours in them, and the support works well for my arthritic feet. If they had come in other colors, I would have gotten them all.
I was a little concerned because the insoles and heel were slightly damaged by the shaping forms, but the shoes are quite comfortable. The only drawback is that the insoles retain heat, so they get quite warm.
