Toe Box way too small
I love my Abeo flip flops so I thought I couldn't lose with all the positive reviews. These are ridiculously short in the toe box. Feels like a size smaller. Is this the correct size? Now I have to spend my money returning something that is misrepresented.
Hoped to find my solution
I have bad plantar fascitis and metatarsal pain. I have bought Asics and Sauconys based on reviews both of which was no help. The Abeo shoes popped up in a review and I read tons of reviews and it was basically a choice between these and Brooks. I chose these based on the fact that I had a choice for the metatarsal support in the foot bed. I wore them around the house for a hour or so each day to break them in, Today was the first full work day I wore them and halfway through my shift I was in the restroom putting pain cream on my feet. The ball of my foot is in so much pain right now. The pads under my little toes are actually swollen. I can also say I purchased the upgrade to the insoles for an additional $25. I did not notice any spring or any difference walking. My knees and hips are very painful right now as well. I wish I had gone with the Brooks. Now I am stuck with shoes that I cannot return because I wore them and am out $135. They also fit a little weird, my foot moved around in them when walking even though they did not seem to large. They do seem well made and I did like the way they looked, there is plenty of toe room. If you suffer from bad PF I do not recommend these shoes.
The sizing was wrong
These ran a half size small. They also came in a wide width... I don't wear a wide shoe and didnt notice until I took them to get stretched. They were clearance, so I couldnt return them.
Loved my first pair so much had to get another. However I ordered in a different color and hurt? Returned the 2nd paid and went back to the original color and am very satisfied with fit, comfort and making my walks pain free. I have bunions, so good shoes and support are a must to avoid pain.
Bought two more pairs!!!
Bought first pair in store about 5 yrs ago & they have been the best ever! My poor feet have suffered through bunions (surgery was so worth it), plantar fasciitis, and no padding on the balls of my feet. With the help of the store clerk, I found these and now I have happy feet. (At least they don't nag & complain at me when I wear these.) I decided I should look into a new pair and found these on sale on line. So, I bought two pair. Couldnt be happier!
