Great for hard surfaces like wood and tile
I had very painful plantar fasciitis for a year. Even with more sensible shoes outside and frequent physical therapy I was on able to get rid of it. I finally discovered what was causing it I had very painful plantar fasciitis for a year. Even with more sensible shoes outside and frequent physical therapy I was unable to get rid of it. I finally discovered what was causing it: The lack of support in my house shoes! Our house has wooden floors and tiles everywhere and it was just too hard on my feet. Since I am wearing my Halflinger I am pain-free. Of course I am also wearing sensible shoes when I go out side.
This is a great shoe / slipper.
I specifically ordered this product, as a gift for my daughter, from a mall store as the clerk was certain it would be sent with the black rubber sole as shown in the photo. However, it did not have the black rubber sole when it arrived. The previous pair my daughter had also did not have the black rubber sole and the soles wore out rather quickly. My own pair, with the black rubber sole, is almost seven years old and still in good shape.
