THE WALKING COMPANY TO OPEN NEW STORE IN SAN FRANCISCO
Leading retailer of comfort footwear brings premium brands
and latest styles of quality comfort shoes and accessories
to first location in The City by the Bay
SAN FRANCISCO, March 19, 2007 - The Walking Company, the leading retailer of comfort footwear in the U.S., today announced its first store in San Francisco will open its doors on Friday, March 23.
The new location will feature the latest styles and designs from more than 40 premium comfort footwear brands such as ECCO, Mephisto and Dansko. The Walking Company also offers a wide selection of comfort footwear from hard-to-find quality brands from around the world such as Pikolinos and Beautifeel. The store will offer a comprehensive selection for every walk of life, including dress shoes, sandals, clogs, boots and active.

The store will be located at San Francisco Center on Market Street, the newly reopened landmark located in the heart of the city. Mall hours are Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
